WHAT IS IT ========================================================================== The analog controller is basically your standard digital controller with an analog thumb pad for extra control. Sometimes it is reffered to as the NiGHTS/3D Controller. It is round in appearance, and comparitavely quite large compared to the standard Saturn pads. To my knowledge, they come in two colours, white and black. As indicated above, it does come with it's own digital pad, it feels just like those that shipped with the Japanese Saturn (and later American models), in other words, nice and soft :) To my knowledge, every commercial game will work with the analog controller, in either analog or digital mode. Analog and digital modes are selectable via a two-way switch on the pad. The pad also shipped with the great game NiGHTS: Into Dreams at one point Some titles don't directly support the analog pad, except they support the Saturn steering wheel, in some cases (all?) the game will still work via the analog thumb pad.
